I’m a Product Designer based in Essex, A lover of all things creative and a sucker for interiors.

With over seven years of design experience, I believe that good design should be thoughtful, intentional, and user-centred. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong understanding of design principles, best practices, and proficiency in design software and tools.

I constantly seek to expand my knowledge and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry. I attend UX meet-ups, talk to designers, and read the latest articles to achieve this.

As a naturally creative person, I spend my free time socialising with loved ones, devising fresh interior design ideas for my home, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

2 Truths and a lie

I used to work as a Wedding Cake Design in London, creating cakes for weddings at venues such as Claridges and the Savoy Hotel.
I’ve broken my right arm twice.
When I was 11, my drum teacher was a drummer from ‘The Prodigy’.

Synthetix

March 2020 - Current

As a Product Designer at Synthetix, I work to define and design new product features and create high-fidelity designs of customer service software.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the design system to eliminate inconsistencies across the brand and product using ZeroHeight.
Create wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Adobe Illustrator.
Use User Research to redesign areas of the product to better suit the needs of contact centre agents.
Design a consistent icon pack to be used across the synthetix product suite.
Ensure the product meets the WCAG accessibility guidelines.
Design illustrations to be used across the Synthetix Product Suite.
Use HTML & CSS to create demo sites, knowledge intros and landing pages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, managers and engineers.

Heybridge Creative

May 2018 - March 2020

While working as a Digital Designer at Heybridge, I oversaw the development and design of tailored websites utilizing content management systems like WordPress and Joomla. Additionally, I provided guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues by sharing my industry knowledge and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the design and development of custom websites using CMS like WordPress and Joomla.
Create wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs using Adobe XD and Adobe Illustrator.
Take part in client meetings to gain a stronger understanding of project briefs.
Speak to clients to collect vital feedback from designs before the development stage.

Ghost Creative

Working as a Lead Digital Designer at Ghost, I successfully conducted client meetings and managed the end-to-end design and build process of websites.

Maintain the design and development of custom websites using CMS like WordPress and Joomla.
Create wireframes and prototypes using InVision
Take part in client meetings to gain a stronger understanding of project briefs.
Speak to clients to collect vital feedback from designs before the development stage.
Use CSS to create custom styling.
